About Us

Kyle Kueker is a Junior at Iowa State majoring in Engineering and has been helping us for 2 years when he is not going to school.  This summer he had an internship at Unverforth in Shell Rock.  We are hoping to continue to bring him on with additional responsibilities as he adds more ground to his operation.

All of our College help along with the other part time help really make our operation go when we get in the fields.

Bruce and Leasa have farmed in Chickasaw County since 1998. Bruce received a degree in Finance and Leasa a degree in Biology from Wartburg College. Bruce has a background in lending and risk management. He also sells crop insurance for Farmers Business Network across the upper Midwest. Leasa is an Occupational Therapist at  a local care center. We have been married since 1993. We are both members of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Waverly. Our family includes one son, Trey (22) and a daughter, Natalie (19).

Our operation consists of 1,800 acres of corn and soybeans as well as a swine finishing operation that finishes 10,000 head annually at two different sites. The operation is in Chickasaw and Floyd Counties in Northeast Iowa. Our operation consists of much more than a single family farming operation. In order to make our operation function, we count on the assistance of many people and entities. Click on each of the tabs and see how we rely on them to make our operation the best it can be.
